Over the years Dr. Quincee developed a specialization in codependency, how trauma impacts the brain and body, cults, and religious trauma. On the show we discuss religious trauma, cult trauma, what constitutes a cult, why a person would get involved with a cult, and so on. Dr. Quincee also shares her story of coming from a very religious upbringing to taking missionary trips to Africa and all the pieces of the puzzle that led to the work she does now.
